The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) is proud to congratulate Finley Graham on their remarkable achievement at the WorldSkills 2024 competition held in Lyon, France from September 10 to 14. Competing against participants from 25 countries in the highly competitive IT Network and Systems Administration (IT-NSA) Skill category, Finley was awarded a prestigious Medallion of Excellence, a testament to their exceptional skills and performance on the global stage.

Schools in Carmarthenshire are taking part in an eSports competition and are learning about the gaming industry and its allied professions at the same time. The Gaming Heroes competition is part of a series of day workshops for schools delivered at Coleg Sir Gâr’s Graig campus in conjunction with the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) and is facilitated by Esports Wales.

The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½â€™s School of Applied Computing successfully hosted Skills Synergy 2025 at Swansea Arena, in collaboration with Cisco Networking Academy and WorldSkills UK.

Nabila Jrida has recently graduated with a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from UWTSD’s London campus having undertaken research into the generational difference in attitudes towards Google Search advertisements.
