We are here to support and provide you with a service long after you’ve graduated. Why not take advantage of the many benefits still available to you as alumni.

Advantages Available to Alumni
Do you want to study further after completing your undergraduate degree? To assist you in continuing to a UWTSD postgraduate course, a tuition fee discount of up to £2,500 may be applicable through the Alumni Postgraduate Taught Discount.
Whether seeking work after graduation, thinking about a career change, or looking at further study, you’ll be supported in a number of ways by our Careers Service.
Through one-to-one appointments, our Careers Advisers can give you advice on CV writing and interview skills, and will even support you in finding work experience. Plus, if you are signed up to our e-newsletters, you’ll be invited to Careers Fairs organised on campus, offering valuable opportunities to network and connect with a range of employers.
You can also continue to use the MyCareer platform which gives you access to a jobs board, career planner, automated CV checker, a virtual mock interview experience, and much more. Simply convert to an Alumni account after you’ve graduated.
Who can access this?
All alumni up to three years after graduation
If you are a business owner or freelancer, or even have an idea you want to develop, as alumni you can access all kinds of support to help you grow your current business or get your fledgling ideas off the ground.
Our friendly and experienced Enterprise Team can offer one-to-one guidance as well as invite you to attend a free Freelance and Business Start-up course which covers the essentials of running a business - from marketing, finances and legal structures and tax.
You may also be eligible for to apply for their of up to £500 to help fund your new business venture.
Who can access this?
All alumni no matter what your year of graduation and no matter which preceding institution you left
Alumni can still access a selection of our online resources using the , a service available from dedicated computers on our Carmarthen, Lampeter and Swansea campuses.
You are welcome to use our libraries for reference and you can search our catalogue to discover resources available across the various locations.
If you would like to borrow physical items, you can join the library as an External Borrower through the or (check whether you are eligible on the pages linked here).
If you’ve been using RefWorks as a student, you can switch to an alumni account before graduating and associate this with a personal email address for continued access.
Our library spaces are also available for studying or reading, and if you visit, you’ll be able to connect to our free Guest Wi-Fi.
