The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

The following items do not comply with the WCAG 2.2 AA success criteria:

PDF and Word documents

  • Some PDFs currently lack a title that describes their topic or purpose. This fails the .
  • Some PDFs may not be structured and tagged correctly, so they鈥檙e accessible to a screen reader. 

We are working together as a university to manage better the PDFs we produce and ensure that staff members are given the proper guidance to create accessible and usable PDFs. This issue will be resolved by the end of March 2026. 

  • Some poorly formatted links exist, either with text that is not descriptive enough, e.g., 鈥渃lick here鈥 or the full web address. This fails .

We are currently working to eliminate these link issues and resolve them by the end of March 2026.

Incorrect use of headings

  • Not every page has a clearly defined heading, known as 鈥淗1鈥 (Heading 1). This fails
  • Not every page has a correct heading structure. (One or more heading levels have been skipped.) This fails .
