The nearest train stations to Lampeter are Carmarthen and Aberystwyth with regular trains from major cities and towns. You can plan your train journey in Traveline.cymru.
From Carmarthen and Aberystwyth, you can catch one of the regular buses that run to Lampeter. Details on the bus services can be found above under our 鈥楤us鈥 section.

The local bus service in Lampeter offers regular routes that connect different parts of the town, including our campus. Regularly buses run from two nearby Carmarthen and Aberystwyth

Open Days
If you are attending an open day, parking is available on our Lampeter Campus car parks.
Visitor Parking
Visitors to UWTSD must pay for parking unless pre-approved. All vehicles, whether pre-approved or not, must be registered upon arrival, and parking charges apply at Carmarthen and Lampeter, with specific enforcement hours and rates; any PCNs issued must be handled through Parking Eye.
Parking Zones
In order to ensure a practical parking management solution, spaces on campus are divided into zones as shown on the Lampeter Parking Maps. These include-

Parking
Lampeter Campus introduced an Automatic Numberplate Recognition System in February 2023.
Parking on campus is free of charge for permit holders only, visitors can park on campus but must pay to park via one of the payment meters or the PayByPhone App on the signage available.
