With the support of the UWTSD Accommodation Team, you’ll be guided through your choices every step of the way – whether you’re after a uni room, or private accommodation.

Accommodation Options

On-campus Accommodation (Carmarthen campus only)

If you’re studying at the Carmarthen campus, we offer on-campus self-catered flats. These flats contain single student rooms with shared kitchen and lounge facilities, creating a great space for both study and socialising. This is an excellent option for those looking for accommodation in Carmarthen. 

To apply for accommodation university managed housing, visit the Application Portal.

While we strive to meet your student accommodation preferences, we cannot guarantee specific room types or allocations. If your requested uni room is unavailable, we will offer the closest match based on availability. In case we cannot offer university accommodation, we will assist you in finding suitable private accommodation.

Private Student Accommodation Providers (Swansea SA1 campus)

For those studying at in Swansea, UWTSD has partnered with private student accommodation providers near the SA1 campus, offering various living options with easy access to university facilities. These include:

  • St Davids (Student Roost): Located in the heart of the city, St Davids offers a range of managed student rooms to rent in Swansea, including ensuite rooms with all-inclusive utility bills. This location is ideal for those seeking a social living experience, with communal spaces and close proximity to both Swansea city centre and your lecturers.
  • Crown Place: Situated on Swansea Marina overlooking the River Tawe, Crown Place provides high-quality student accommodation Swansea with ensuite rooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, 24-hour security, and shared study areas.

How to Apply for Accommodation Through Clearing

Applying for accommodation through Clearing is simple. The best way to apply is through our application portal. 

Rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as you’ve confirmed your place at UWTSD.

While we aim to accommodate your preferences, specific room types or allocations are not guaranteed. If your desired option is unavailable, we will offer the next closest match based on current availability.

If we cannot offer UWTSD managed Swansea accommodation or on-campus Carmarthen housing, the Accommodation Team will support you in finding suitable private accommodation, whether through UniHome, Unihousing, or other student lettings services.
