In an extraordinary story of resilience and determination, UWTSD Birmingham graduate Noreen Akhtar is today celebrating the completion of her BSc degree in Health and Social Care, overcoming significant personal challenges along the way.

Demonstrating a determined commitment to advancing her education and career, Shana Rankin, a former NHS divisional support admin officer, has successfully transitioned into a career in public health and social care, thanks to the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD’s) Birmingham campus.

A caretaker for a Jewish community in Birmingham has successfully transitioned towards a promising career in healthcare and is today celebrating being awarded a BSc Degree in Health and Social Care from the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD).

After three decades of dedicated service in various social care settings, Tina Pena-Smith, a director, and chair of Highgate Community Support LTD, a Birmingham-based charity, has embarked on an inspiring journey of higher education, realising a long-held aspiration to attain a degree.

Carrie Jelfs, a dedicated and passionate care worker is today celebrating being awarded a BSc Health and Social Care degree from UWTSD Birmingham. Her journey has been marked by a wealth of practical experience and academic achievements.
