ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) is proud to have welcomed back BA Business Management graduate Beth Thomas as part of the Careers Service’s Employer Talk series this May. A graduate of our Swansea campus, Beth has gone on to build a successful career in digital marketing and social media, working with major brands including Deliveroo, Birchbox and TikTok.

In this article, Kath Griffiths, UWTSD’s International Regional Manager, explores the importance of Taith, Wales’s international learning exchange programme and how it is transforming lives across the university community by opening up life-changing opportunities for students and staff alike.

On February 11, UWTSD Tourism and Events students will host the annual award winning ITT Future You Wales Event at Swansea Arena. This year the event will include a Digital Conference taking delegates from Wales to the World, showcasing careers in Travel, Tourism, Events, Festivals, Hotels, Hospitality, Gastronomy as well as Sport, Music, Performing Arts and Business.

Abi Penny, Senior Lecturer in Motorsport Engineering at UWTSD, is on a mission to break down barriers for women in motorsport. With nearly two decades of hands-on experience and teaching, Abi is passionate about inspiring the next generation of female engineers in an industry that’s rapidly evolving. In this article, she says that with support and ambition, engineering is for everyone, and the future is brighter than ever.
