The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) proudly announces that it has been recognised with a '1st Class' award in the esteemed 2023 People and Planet University League.

UWTSD is celebrating success in two national newspaper University league tables published today.
In the Guardian University League Table 2025, the University has been placed 7th in the UK and 2nd in Wales for student satisfaction with teaching and 5th in the UK and 2nd in Wales for student satisfaction with the feedback provided to students.

The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) has been ranked first in Wales and joint third in the UK for student satisfaction by the Times Higher Education.

UWTSD has been placed first in Wales in seven subjects in the Guardian University League Table 2024.

On February 11, UWTSD Tourism and Events students will host the annual award winning ITT Future You Wales Event at Swansea Arena. This year the event will include a Digital Conference taking delegates from Wales to the World, showcasing careers in Travel, Tourism, Events, Festivals, Hotels, Hospitality, Gastronomy as well as Sport, Music, Performing Arts and Business.

Abi Penny, Senior Lecturer in Motorsport Engineering at UWTSD, is on a mission to break down barriers for women in motorsport. With nearly two decades of hands-on experience and teaching, Abi is passionate about inspiring the next generation of female engineers in an industry that’s rapidly evolving.
