The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) netball team has had an outstanding season, finishing the year undefeated and earning a well-deserved promotion to Western Division 5. Competing in ten matches, both home and away, the team showcased remarkable consistency, skill, and determination, securing victory in every game and claiming the league title.

The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) Men’s Football and Men’s Rugby teams both claimed victory in the British Universities and College Sport (BUCS) League Western Conference Trophy Finals at Bath University.

The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) proudly supported the 2025 Welsh Fitness Awards, held recently at the Hilton Hotel in Cardiff, where two of its outstanding students were recognised as ‘Student of the Year’ in their respective categories.

A groundbreaking new project from the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) is redefining how psychological and emotional support is delivered to individuals living with limb loss. The Walking in Our Shoes project, launched by UWTSD’s Centre for Psychology and Counselling in collaboration with Limbless Association, a leading UK charity supporting amputees for over 40 years and funded by The VTCT Foundation, combines the power of lived experience with cutting-edge digital innovation to co-create meaningful psychosocial resources.

UWTSD postgraduate student is applying his expertise in sports nutrition to help para-triathlete prepare for an intense endurance challenge - cycling the length of Wales on a hand bike in just three days. This new challenge comes after a longstanding collaboration between the para-triathlete, Welsh Triathlon and UWTSD, where the university has supported his mission to compete at the World Triathlon Para Series.
