Students on the Childhood, Youth and Education Studies programmes at UWTSD recently took part in an inspiring Graduate Stories event as part of their annual Employability Week (20th-24th January). The event brought together six graduates who shared where life has taken them since finishing their degrees. From recruitment and HR to youth work and entrepreneurship, the event showcased diverse career journeys and was packed with advice, insights, and plenty of inspiration.

Ashley Macdonald, a recent graduate of the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) with a BA in Early Years Education and Care, is celebrating his remarkable achievement and sharing his inspiring journey into education.

The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) is delighted to announce that it as been placed 1st in Wales for Lecturers & Teaching Quality (8th in the UK) and for Student Support (11th in UK) in the Whatuni Student Choice Awards, announced last night.

The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) proudly announces that it has been recognised with a '1st Class' award in the esteemed 2023 People and Planet University League.

The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) recently celebrated Wales Outdoor Learning Week 2025 with a series of practical, outdoor-based learning experiences designed to inspire both university students and local school pupils.

UWTSD is celebrating success in two national newspaper University league tables published today.
In the Guardian University League Table 2025, the University has been placed 7th in the UK and 2nd in Wales for student satisfaction with teaching and 5th in the UK and 2nd in Wales for student satisfaction with the feedback provided to students.

The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) has been ranked first in Wales and joint third in the UK for student satisfaction by the Times Higher Education.

UWTSD has been placed first in Wales in seven subjects in the Guardian University League Table 2024.

Across a variety of league tables, ratings and awards, we are proud that our rankings consistently show we are there every step of the way to support our students and prepare them for the world of work.
