Staff and students from UWTSD Swansea College of Art have been making a festive impact with local children from Christchurch Primary and St Helen’s Primary. Working with the outreach team, the pupils made fairy wings for the Christmas Parade, which are now on display at St Mary’s Church in the city centre.

Each year UWTSD’s BA/MDes Surface Pattern and Textiles programme team seek out ambitious Live Project partnerships for their students. Currently ranked 3rd in the UK, 1st in Wales, in the large and competitive field of Fashion and Textiles degree courses (Guardian League Tables 2024,) this UWTSD programme based at Swansea College of Art, hails much of its success due to the vibrant Entrepreneurial Learning strategy that underpins the student experience.

Alice Lovell-Young who graduated from MA Classical Civilisation at ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½â€™s (UWTSD) Lampeter campus in 2017 now works at the University’s campus in London and has the opportunity to work alongside former lecturers whom she praises.
