Swansea College of Art, UWTSD, is leading the charge in the realm of art and design education by embracing the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) and immersive technologies .The MA Art and Design and the Professional Doctorate in Art and Design programmes are embarking on the exciting journey to prepare students for a dynamic and AI-driven creative landscape.

Huw Edwards, a researcher on the D Prof programme, has been awarded the MBE in the New Year Honours for services to music and charity with Monmouth Male Voice Choir – Cor Meibion Mynwy.

ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) has developed a new postgraduate qualification, MA Applied Theatre: Community, Education and Wellbeing that focuses on the role of drama and theatre outside of traditional spaces.

This academic year is the 25th anniversary of the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½'s BEng Motorsport Engineering Degree Programme. It was pioneering at the time, being the first of its kind in the world.

Mary Bath, a student at the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½â€™s Swansea College of Art has created a special award for the 'People's Choice’ category in the Book of the Year competition.

An honorary fellowship has been conferred upon Margaret Evans, a former senior civil servant who worked for John Major a Michael Portillo. Margaret Evans was also a longstanding member of the University of Wales and ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ Councils.
