Apprenticeship in Computing (Computer Networks and Cybersecurity) (BSc Hons)
In today’s connected world, networks are the backbone of how we live, work, and communicate. They allow businesses to operate seamlessly, people to stay in touch, and technology to evolve rapidly. However, with this reliance on networks comes a growing risk of cybercrime, which can affect individuals, organisations, and even entire countries.
This apprenticeship is designed to give you the knowledge and skills needed to navigate and secure these complex systems, opening doors to careers in networking or cybersecurity. Strong networking skills are at the heart of understanding and tackling cybersecurity challenges. This programme not only builds your technical expertise but also equips you with the ability to address real-world security issues.
At the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD), you’ll benefit from over two decades of experience as a Cisco Academy, having partnered with Cisco since 1999. Since 2018, we have also been an EC-Council Academy partner. This makes us uniquely positioned to deliver a programme that stands out in the UK. Our apprenticeship combines the practical and theoretical elements of networking and cybersecurity, covering industry-standard certifications as part of the curriculum.
