The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) welcomed over 50 students from MADE Cymru to the IQ building in Swansea. The students were invited to meet their classmates in person, as both Industry 4.0 and Innovation classes are held online. This was an excellent opportunity for the students to network with peers and explore the University’s manufacturing facilities. Some of the students had travelled from across Wales, including as far as Conwy.

It aimed to connect literary Wales internationally and promote the best of its literature and was packed with meetings and events featuring award-winning Welsh and international writers.

Since the pandemic hit small business owners have faced financial problems, recruitment challenges and as the cost-of-living crisis has hit many are now seeing a decline in customer spend. Female owned businesses are not immune to these difficulties and for those in rural areas of Wales, they also suffer from loneliness too.
