Role in the University
Leading curriculum development for sustainable food studies at Tir Glas.
Background
With many years鈥 experience in the charity sector prior to joining the University, I am heavily involved in civil society efforts around food in Wales. I currently chair Bwyd Sir G芒r Food Partnership, regularly broadcast and write on food matters on national media and am a member of the Welsh heritage apples working group. My new book, Tir: The Story of the Welsh Landscape, takes a broad view of the necessary precondition for good food 鈥 a living landscape.

- Apple cultivation and culture in the British Isles;
- Sustainable agriculture;
- History of the Welsh landscape.
