Law in Practice (Top-up) (LLB)
The LLB Law in Practice is a part-time degree designed for those ready to advance their legal career. If you’ve completed Level 4 and 5 legal qualifications, such as the CILEX Paralegal or Advanced Paralegal certifications, this top-up course offers a direct pathway to earning a full LLB Law degree.
Studied over two years, this programme provides a balance of legal knowledge and practical skills tailored to modern legal workplaces. You will study on-campus in Swansea, guided by experienced professionals who bring real-world insight into teaching. The course focuses on ensuring students are ready to meet workplace demands, combining academic learning with practical application.
The curriculum covers a range of specialised areas of law, including dispute resolution, conveyancing, family law, and wills and probate. Alongside these optional modules, you will complete compulsory modules in workplace law and a legal practice dissertation, giving you the opportunity to research and explore a legal topic in depth.
This course is designed with flexibility in mind, making it ideal for students who are balancing work and study. It is perfect for those aiming to grow within their current role, change specialisms, or enhance their employability skills for a broader range of opportunities in legal practice.
