This spring, Cardiff will showcase the exceptional talents of the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½â€™s Wales Academy of Voice and Dramatic Arts (WAVDA) students through a series of captivating performances. From spellbinding musical theatre productions to high-energy commercial dance showcases, this season offers audiences a front-row seat to the future of performing arts.

Students and staff from the BA Set, Design and Production course at the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) have teamed up with the Carmarthen and District Youth Opera (CDYO) on their latest production, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) hosted Skills Competition Wales events in partnership with Inspiring Skills Excellence in Wales on Friday, February 7 at its IQ and Dynevor buildings in Swansea. Skills Competition Wales aims to raise the profile of skills across Wales by providing students, trainees, and apprentices with the opportunity to challenge themselves, benchmark their abilities, and enhance their expertise in a range of sectors.

The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) is hosting the Residuum Interna-tional Conference 2025, a groundbreaking event bringing together scholars, artists, and design practitioners from the UK and China. Taking place from May 12 to May 16 at the Fforwm Building at our Swansea Waterfront campus, this bilingual conference (English & Mandarin) will serve as a dynamic platform for innovative discourse and cre-ative collaboration in art and design.

The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) is leading a dynamic community project to mark the transformation of St Mary’s Church into Swansea Minster. On 16th February 2025, Swansea will officially welcome its first Minster church, cementing its place as a cultural and spiritual landmark.
