Project outline
Kaydiar Ltd, a Swansea-based innovator in pressure offloading technology, partnered with ATiC to evaluate ZeroSole—a modular, silicone insole designed to reduce pressure on the foot. The product targets painful, pressure-induced foot lesions, with applications ranging from diabetic care to everyday and sports footwear.
The pilot study aimed to assess the insole’s effectiveness in redistributing pressure across the plantar surface of the foot. Designed for use in conventional footwear, ZeroSole offers a customisable, over-the-counter (OTC) solution for managing and preventing foot lesions.
Launched in summer 2024, ZeroSole became the first modular silicone insole to deliver clinically informed offloading in the OTC-pharma market.
