The Design and Performing Industries at the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) are delighted to present an evening celebrating the creative achievements of their BA Adventure Filmmaking and BA Digital Media Production students.

Taking place at 7:30pm on 7th July at the Lyric Theatre, Carmarthen, this special screening forms part of the Carmarthen Film Club programme, proudly supported by Carmarthen Bay Film Festival and Theatrau Sir Gâr.

The event will feature an exciting and diverse range of short films produced by students across all three years of study. Audiences can expect environmental documentaries, creative media projects, and short drama films – each reflecting the students’ passion, innovation, and growing expertise.

The evening will begin with a brief introduction by Dr Brett Aggersberg, Programme Manager, who said:

“We are always very proud of our students, and this year has seen some dynamic work that celebrates the moving image in a range of industry fields. The graduating students have a bright future ahead of them where they can express their ideas and work in a professional context in exciting new areas.

“Join us for an inspiring evening of storytelling and cinematic exploration, and support the next generation of filmmakers as they take their first steps into the creative industries.â€

A particular highlight of the evening will be the short fiction films, which showcase collaborative work between BA Digital Media Production and BA Acting students – a testament to UWTSD’s commitment to cross-disciplinary creativity.
