The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) is delighted to announce its shortlisting in the ‘Lecturers and Teaching Quality’ category at the upcoming Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs) 2025.

This recognition underscores the university’s strong commitment to delivering exceptional teaching and fostering an enriching academic environment for its students.
The WUSCAs are unique in the higher education sector, as they are based entirely on student reviews, reflecting genuine student experiences across the UK. The 2025 awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on 21st May 2025 at The Brewery in London, with esteemed host Alexander Armstrong.
Professor Mirjam Plantinga, Pro Vice-Chancellor, expressed her pride in the university’s achievement:
“We are delighted to have been nominated for ‘lecturers and teaching quality’ and for our students to have recognised the support they receive by their tutors. At UWTSD, we prioritise a student-centred approach, ensuring that our learners receive the highest quality education and support. This recognition, based on student feedback, is especially meaningful to us.â€â€‹
The WUSCAs evaluate institutions across various categories, including ‘University of the Year’, ‘Career Prospects’, and ‘Student Support’. UWTSD’s inclusion in the ‘Lecturers and Teaching Quality’ shortlist highlights its consistent efforts to enhance teaching methodologies and student engagement.
