UWTSD Announced as Host for WorldSkills UK National Finals 2025
The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) has been named one of the host venues for the prestigious WorldSkills UK National Finals 2025, as part of a new partnership between WorldSkills UK and Inspiring Skills Excellence in Wales.

This landmark event, taking place November 25 to 28, 2025, will be held across a range of venues in South Wales, including UWTSD’s state-of-the-art IQ building at the Swansea Waterfront campus, marking the first time the Finals will be hosted in Wales.

WorldSkills UK Competitions are a major feature of the post-16 education and training landscape, attracting over 6,000 registrations annually from across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. They help benchmark skills against world-class standards and support progression into high-quality careers in key sectors of the UK economy.

The finals will see hundreds of young competitors tested across diverse disciplines including Additive manufacturing, CNC machining, Automation, Robotics, Industrial electronics and Renewable energy. High-performing competitors may go on to represent the UK at future international WorldSkills Competitions.
