An article in the British Psychological Society’s flagship publication, The Psychologist, this month highlights the international research being carried out by two of the academic staff in UWTSD’s Psychology and Counselling department.

UWTSD Tourism and Events students hosted an Industry Opportunities Day at Swansea’s Dylan Thomas Centre on January 23.

The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) and the Institut Supérieur d’Electronique de Paris (ISEP) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to share expertise, facilitate student and staff study exchange, and explore collaborative research opportunities.

Milena Tomaszewska an energy and environmental engineering student from the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD), has been working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Tallarna, a climate tech company for the built environment which combines data analytics, performance guarantees, and efficient funding to make decarbonisation projects executable. During her time, she explored Welsh building archetypes and the retrofit landscape in Wales.

Summer 2023 will see the return of the Sports Summer Camp at The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½.

Adult and Family Engagement Groups working with the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½â€™s (UWTSD) Widening Access department got a taste of campus life at an event on January 19.

A Dietitian from S4C's FFIT Cymru programme, Beca Lyne- Pirkis, is now a well-known face on the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ campus as a student studying a Masters in Sports and Exercise Nutrition.

A collaborative project which allowed researchers and filmmakers to literally see the world through the eyes of a Swansea couple living with dementia has been announced as a finalist in the Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Hero Awards 2023.
