UWTSD is a member of UALL (The Universities Association for Lifelong Learning). From 26–28 June, Dr Iain Jones, Senior Lecturer, Education, Yr Athrofa: Institute of Education, attended this year’s annual conference jointly organised with SCUTREA (Standing Conference on University Teaching and Research in the Education of Adults).

UWTSD London Business Management graduate Khadija El Maski’s learing journey began in Morocco and then in Italy when her family relocated there. She completed her secondary education and was awarded a diploma in accounting. It was during this time that her fascination with the intricacies of business and management began to flourish, igniting a desire to delve deeper into this field through higher education.

Through an innovative collaboration of schools, community organisations, and volunteers, the International Institute for Creative Entrepreneurial Development (IICED) at the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) launched a project aimed at enriching local heritage and cultural knowledge.

A new strategic partnership has been created between The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½â€™s Academy of Sport and Carmarthen Quins RFC to provide a pathway for students to combine their academic and rugby aspirations through Higher Education and semi-professional rugby.

Students at UWTSD’s Swansea College of Art transformed an empty shop in the city centre into an exhibition space.

A lecturer from the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ has recently had the opportunity to visit Norway as part of the Taith Mobility Programme.

Award-winning Welsh authors Siân Melangell Dafydd and Llŷr Gwyn Lewis attended the Blue Metropolis Festival in Montreal on 27–30 April alongside Literature Across Frontiers’ Director, Alexandra Büchler.

A group of Level 5 International Travel and Tourism, Events, and International Festivals Management students from the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) have taken part in the University’s 10th Swiss trip.
