The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) proudly supported the Belron® Research Exhibition at the Best of Belron® 2024 event, held at the MEO Arena in Lisbon on June 12-13.

The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) was pleased to welcome local businesses to view its latest Swansea Waterfront development, which is nearing completion. The Innovation Matrix, a new state-of-the-art building and eco-system focused on digital innovation, is being built in the heart of Swansea’s SA1 Innovation Quarter.

Second-year BA Graphic Design student, Katie Rees, has landed an exciting role as a freelance photographer with the Scarlets. It marks a significant milestone in Katie’s learning journey with the University, showcasing her dedication, talent, and passion for the creative arts.

Kevin Blanco Ledesma, a second year BA International Gastronomy Management student at the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) is juggling his studies whilst running a newly-opened restaurant.

The University of Wales Centre for Advanced Welsh and Celtic Studies (CAWCS) held an international conference on 3–6 June 2024 that looked at Bronze Age mining and metals and the long-distance contacts between Scandinavia, Wales and beyond.

Congratulations to the UWTSD Automotive and Transport Design class of 2024 for a fantastic opening night of their graduate degree show, showcasing the culmination of creativity and innovation in automotive and transport design!

This summer has been a remarkable term for the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½â€™s  Childhood, Youth and Education Department. The department has had the pleasure of engaging with various schools and colleges from across Wales through a series of enriching visits These interactions included our team conducting play and creative workshops at colleges and hosting school and college courses on the Swansea and Carmarthen campuses.

A special film created by Cardigan Primary School in an animation workshop in  Yr Egin S4C Centre has been shown in the Senedd and the Ceredigion County Council’s Education Department’s ‘Trwy’r Lens’ Film Festival this month.
