Nia Moores, a second year Events and International Festival Management , is sharing the inspiring story of her summer placement in Orlando, Florida, where she spent three transformative months working at Universal Studios’ Volcano Bay water park. The experience was part of Taith, Wales’s international learning exchange programme, which creates life-changing opportunities to learn, study and volunteer all over the world.

Katie Day, an experienced professional in training and development, has successfully completed an MA in Professional Practice from the ���Ҵ�ý. This academic achievement marks a significant milestone in her career, reflecting both her dedication to personal growth and her commitment to advancing her field.

Young Chef Young Waiter Young Mixologist (YYY) Wales has crowned Alex Dunham of The Whitebrook, winner of Young Chef, Jack Williams of Penmaenuchaf Hotel as Young Waiter, and James Borley of The Dead Canary as the winner of Young Mixologist.

A new exhibition of work entitled Solo Symphony by Professor Sue Williams can be viewed at TEN, a contemporary art gallery specialising in Welsh and Wales-based artists, in Cardiff this month.

Nia Hopkins, a student from Swansea College of Art, ���Ҵ�ý has created a special prize for the ‘Barn y Bobl’ category in the Book of the Year competition.

The ���Ҵ�ý (UWTSD) has recently led a series of professional training workshops, requested by Pembrokeshire Education Authority, to promote play-based learning across Welsh schools. The workshops, titled “Playful Pedagogies”, were developed and facilitated by UWTSD lecturers Paul Darby and Natasha Jones from the Early Years Team, following a successful presentation delivered to Challenge Advisors and Local Education Representatives across Wales.
