Students from the ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½'s (UWTSD) Outdoor Adventure Education course have teamed up with the Stroke Association Carmarthenshire Community Connect Service to create activity days and workshops aimed at supporting stroke survivors in their rehabilitation journey.

The ÃÜÌÒ´«Ã½ (UWTSD) recently celebrated Wales Outdoor Learning Week 2025 with a series of practical, outdoor-based learning experiences designed to inspire both university students and local school pupils.

Storm Darragh, which swept through South Wales last December, left a lasting mark on many communities — including Craig y Nos Country Park, where around 200 mature trees were lost in a single day and many more now being removed due to their unstable condition.
