Canolfan S4C Yr Egin is delighted to announce its receipt of the prestigious ‘Best Promoters of the Welsh Language in the Workplace’ award at the recent ‘Valuable Partners of Careers Wales’ ceremony held at the Senedd in Cardiff. This recognition celebrates the centre’s outstanding contributions to promoting the Welsh language within the workplace and beyond, alongside informing, inspiring and motivating young people of the career opportunities available to them within the creative industries. 

Taking place between February 10 and 16, 2025, Apprenticeship Week Wales is an annual week-long celebration of apprenticeships, and the value they bring to learners, employers, and the wider Welsh economy.

The Welsh construction industry is at a turning point. With over 9,000 additional workers required by 2027, the need to build better, more efficient homes is becoming increasingly urgent. The launch of Tai ar y Cyd, a collaboration between Welsh Government and 23 Welsh social landlords on January 15, highlighted both the scale of this challenge and the opportunity to reshape the sector through collaboration and innovation.
